don't worry it will pop up someday on ebay or elsewhere
Might that be a mis-matched set with the engine having yellow wheels and the trailing cars red?
In Ripleys fabulous Plarail Catalog Collection it shows this train from 1999 (Ripleys earliest catalog) until 2003 had all red wheels. Since most all vintage trains had yellow wheels I would have to assume the engine in this set is older than the trailing cars.
that's interesting, i just accepted it as a design quirk.
Here is an unboxing of the all red wheel train and the description is...
I have yet to find a picture or video showing one with yellow wheels so if there is none, not saying there isn't, then it may be possible that they have swapped out the wheels or whole chassis with a different train using the same size chassis. Geris also has a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3_w_asZkeE Quote:It is a plarail of JR East 255 series "Boso View Express" sold from 1995 to 1999. In 2005 it was released as Plarail's Day Limited
Here is one with grey wheels, maybe this is the latest 2005 release. http://www.jauce.com/auction/e215899415
Out of curiosity I am still looking for a yellowed wheel one. ![]()
I have had no luck finding a yellowed wheeled version but that doesn't mean there isn't one. My results only showed the red or grey wheeled Tomy/Plarail releases, a yellow wheeled version could have been released in the UK and Europe through the Tomica World Road & Rail label.

Hopefully this helps if your still after one just found it as looking through the trackmaster listings.
