It's easy to lose a tender or other if the coupling is either broken or loose, but if you have a old Tomy Henry or Gordon you can do a simple replacement, instead of the couplings that you have from before you can switch it and now on you have a permanent solution, so then you won't lose it.
i prefer the original couplings, but with the original one it's a big gap, so it's more presentable (think that is the right word to use
)

The top part of the tender is "universal" so it will work both ways except for that the buffers are at the front and the hook at the back.
