Trackmaster Plans, Layouts, And Ideas

Hey everyone, T-R-Y again! I figured that this would be a pretty fun thread. Here we can post some Trackmaster OR Tomy track plans, ideas, or our very own layouts! I have a few ideas and I am interested to see other's ideas and layouts! If any of you have track plans , ideas for a track that can be built, or you just wanna show off your layout, this is the place you can start!
Here is one idea I have that I actually currently have built:

Ulfstead Branch/Millie's Line

Since I cannot post pictures, (yet) I will explain it.
It is the Castle Quest Set at first, just configured into an oval (where the trains come out of the set, it runs to a curve which runs back to the spiral). The set then has two switches that are oppositely configured that connect to make two lines, which makes the outside or "main line" . This runs all the way around the set, and runs into a 2 siding yard area which have two tracks running between them on opposite sides. . This small set is to be configured into a larger one when I have the time but for now I'll leave it like this. When I actually clear out my garage and get my table completed, it will be running on an HO scale scenery trackmaster layout at about 4x11 feet when I get the time, as I want to make a HO scale Ulfstead with trackmaster track and engines . This is not a permanent set and I just made it to make it , so it's not all that but it's still fun and fun to run engines on.

Does anyone else have any ideas or plans or just wanna talk about their layout?

Again, sorry about no pictures. My phone won't let me post them :(

I have another idea for builders that works with Tomy BlueTrack or Trackmaster tracks, but this one requires space as I have built it before, it takes up some room:

Gordon's Hill:

This set is pretty simple , but cool and fun.

First, have a turnout (the double track ones, not the ones that lead to a turn) with two straights leading out of them. Have an opposite switch on the other side. If you have one of those overpass scenery things, place it above the two at the switch. On both sides of the straights, place a station. Next, leading out of the switch, place a straight leading to another turnout. Next, place a straight on those two turnouts, and add one of those double track turns, under these, place a teir one riser, repeat this with a tier two riser. Next, add a straight on the end of the curves, at the end of these add a teir three riser. Next add another double curve piece with a teir four riser, with another teir four to flatten it out. Next, make a straight downwards hill . At the very bottem, place another turnout bringing it back to a single track. Next add a straight, and place a road overpass tunnel above it, now you have the road overpass you see at Gordon's hill. Now bring it back to the end of the station area. That is how you make Gordon's hill. You can also add scenery and trees as you like, but here is the track plan :)

One more idea, this one requires a lot of tomy track and risers. It's not that big, just tall ;) :

Double Riser Suspension Bridge:

This is probably the most simple idea, and this is preferred for use with Tomy BlueTrack.

First, have a spiral riser that leads up about 5-15 Tracks (the spirals commonly made with Tomy risers , ActionChugger probably knows that best ;) )
. Next you need a bridge of any kind, preferably the red two track bridges, and have it leading out of the spiral itself on the top. Now at the end of it , put another spiral leading downwards from the bridge. Now just connect the two. Hope you guys like these plans! If you a have anymore post em here! Also if you want, post your current layouts as well :)

good idea. im not too good with track designs, tend to throw it together as i go along. always has to be small enough amount of pieces that i can carry on the motorbike, so nothing too huge, lol.

Nice topic Trackmaster-Rail-Yard

Most members have seen pictures of our layout. It is not a Trackmaster design more so for the Tomy/Plarail trains as there is no Thomas or any of his friends around. The ones that were Thomas's friends have been redesigned to remove any connection with characters. Same goes with any building or accessories so I am not sure our layout meets the title of this thread or the Forum its posted in but I will post the pictures and let me know if its not what you were thinking of and I shall delete them. I do have to say that I enjoy designing, engineering and constructing layouts more than running the trains.

There have been some changes to the layout since these pictures. Two of the elevated track lines will be removed soon as I will be replacing them with a hanging Monorail system that is on its way.

Speaking of spirals here is an interesting video. One spiral with multiple trains going up and down at the same time.

Super it's amazing maybe if took that layout and put on display then people should maybe might pay to watch the trains go on the layout
Thank you! There are quite a few aspects of the layout that are different from the pictures above now especially the removal of all the perimeter lines. These will be evident in the next couple videos that won't be started until the weather changes here in the States.
