MTR passenger train basic set

i have an opportunity to buy this set locally, and would like some more info around release and possible value. uncle google hasnt given much info. i found one set the same, on the MTR website. it seems theres been 2 or 3 versions released.

the seller wants $120NZD shipped.

i will see what other info comes in and then decide. gotta pay rego for the bike this week before anything else.

well, i didnt get it. listing closed unsold, and sometime over night the seller sent out a fixed price offer, which was snapped up by someone else. gutted, but i couldnt really afford it anyway. [$120NZD]

instead im watching a genuine canadian pacific hardhat, and another plarail train which i dont yet have.

well, i had completely forgotten about this thread, and cant remember if the set in question was MIB or not, but im thinking it was.

i have found another, with an opening bid of $15. other than stickers all over the pieces, it looks pretty good, so heres hoping. got a week to run.
