Should've posted this yesterday, but I had made a custom sign for Maithwaite station; now I only need a fence!
I'm quite worried for it, however. It seemed sturdy at first but the legs of the sign are very flimsy and easily bent o.o I've almost crushed it after tripping a few times and I only have so much cardboard and so much patience.
The sign is made of a small piece of cardboard I painted mat white (I know I'm breaking my own rules here) and a printed paper piece that says "MAITHWAITE" in white bolded Arial font on a green background. I pasted it onto the cardboard by sticking a piece of double-sided tape onto the printer paper before cutting it out.

For a few days now, I've been looking at someone else's trains on ebay. I hope to acquire a few pairs of Annie and Clarabel to make the branchline coaches.
I AM NOT DEAD. Just inactive.

Cool what kind of Annie and clarabel coaches and carriages are you finding? Trackmaster or plarail?

Well, I can say it's definitely been a while since I've posted!
I've managed to replace some of my couplings on my green and red express coaches (darn couplings kept snapping, so I had one breakaway too many with a test run on a W.I.P. locomotive), and have started to examine Marion to see if I'll need to make a complete new shell for my second one when I get the "Doki Doki Treasure Thomas" set in October.
Plarail Ryan has had some more detail added onto him (all of my own choice to make him look more realistic), and have decided to keep things as simple as possible. As much as I want to add on that piping he has, I don't have the qualifications for doing so.
Sadly, I've had to scrap a good few of some spare engines, due to their motors either having skipping gears, or failing to work completely.

Today I spent several hours re-assembling the layout and got some customisation done on Flying Scotsman, TOMY Thomas and the Tidmouth Bridge signal gantry. I also laughed at Shooting Star getting stuck in the Trackmaster 1 Whispering Woods repeatedly and ended up giving him Mighty Mac's coach for extra support.
