Daiso Petit Trains

We sure do need those ones AC, I got the Kyushu Forest of Yufuin now (although used it looks mint) as well as the NEX, 883 and EF81 shown in that picture. But I still need the others especially the 'Romance Cars' and the 'Spacia' Smile

I still need to look through the bag of Daiso bits I got in that job lot, but one thing that stood out was an engine shed, not seen those elsewhere yet Smile

Here's a couple more video's, one gives some ideas for multi-level layouts and again a few more trains we don't have lol!!

The trains on this one must be modified in some way looking at the speed Smile

And customising your loco to make a 'gold' bullet train;

And how to make a longer car train by stripping motors out of spare motor cars (we need to ask our good buddy if he can get extras of those two so we can make some 6 car shinkansens or something Big Grin)

As well as some good examples of some of the dual track accessories etc... I see another train here a Thunderbird, I also saw in another a 485 express. I sure wish there was a definitive list out there somewhere!! Big Grin

BTW - Did you know Daiso Japan have stores in the USA and Australia? Search for Daiso on Facebook and you can find their page with the names of the store locations Smile

Do they even sell trains anymore? I looked at the Online Store for the USA and I can't find any trains or toys for that matter. http://www.daisojapan.com/
I've no idea Super, I assumed (maybe wrongly) that they were still available in the Japanese stores seeing as our pet eBay seller seems to keep finding new items for me and AC Big Grin

It may be like our UK Poundland stores, they have a website, but sell only a fraction of their range online that are available in store. May have to do with shipping costs or somethinge seeing as they are a low price store?!?
