Oh. That RC train looks very nice with the lights! Do you have problems with it triggering the automatic point rails at the wrong place? I remember these RC trains have the physical notch on the middle car where the motor is.

There is no motor in the middle car, in fact the middle car is similar to a regular middle car except it has the infra red receiver dome on the roof with wires running through the coupling to the engine. Actually the one I have does not trigger the Automatic Points at all because there is no activation tab anywhere under any chassis (see picture) Glad you have brought this up because I have been in the process of removing all batteries from my trains not running on the layout and when I opened up this puppy one of the 3 AA's in the engine was just starting to leak so it was saved thank you. And it wasn't running at its best so before I put him away I will take him apart and give him a good what for.

Great work super i love your mod videos, your layout is fantastic, it's great with the colours and with the palm trees they really make it come alive,

I have to say my favourite mod is your green salty! It motors along really well doesn't it?! My salty is so unbelievably slow!

Your videos are always so fluid, it's great to see so much going on, they really are videos you can watch time and time again!

Can I suggest something? I don't want to be rude and I wouldn't be offended if you don't act on it (after all I don't know if it would spoil how your videos flow). But I'd like to read a little bit about your modifications, I thought it might be nice if when a train passes a bit of text pops up listing the modifications and what the original train was.
Say, I don't know if it would spoil the natural rhythm of your video, but it would nice to know a little more. Maybe at the end you could put a little extra section, with a split screen, your modified train could be on the left screen running on the track and the right part of the screen could be black with white text listing all the important modifications, or something similar.

Hi Tramp, thank you for the kind words

Suggestions and criticisms are always welcome because I can never get enough learning new ideas and such. The green Salty (Salt Substitute) has an upgraded, Power Dash motor, in him for the exact reason you mention with your Mr. Salty and he works great with 1.2volt rechargeable AA battery's.

I have thought of adding text on the video with the mods but decided it would take to much effort for the timing and that some mods would have more text and I would need that to stay on the screen longer so viewers could read it before that clip was finished. And also the fact that some clips showed more than one mod. So I opted for adding the "Part 3" (coming soon) which will be a slideshow of still pictures of each Custom with its name. Then in the description below the video I will give a short summary of the changes/additions.
