After all the talk about small scale model trains with Nigels I watched some neat YouTube videos. The first one below is the making of a neat "T" Scale train layout into a glass topped Coffee Table but check out the video channels of the owners of some crazy small working layouts...its insane to me...

I know I saw one at that exhibition a few months back which was built into the attic of a dolls house. That was working and I assume T gauge having never seen it in the flesh myself before. It was beautiful and exquisite the level of detail for the size of the layout/rolling stock was astonishing.

But I think ZZ scale is probably as small as I would want to go, T scale although a miracle of engineering is just too small for my liking. More likely is that I will at some point build a layout in either N or Z gauge as they have more support and are slightly more practical to handle.
