I never even knew the "American" version existed! I thought it would've had the same phrases as the "British" version, and had the theme tune (for some strange reason, only the "British" ones play the music). I also expected it to sound like George Carlin, since it was made at the time. Are you sure the missing James does have an Alec Baldwin voice/accent? I can't tell who voices the Percy.

No offense, but the Japanese version sounds very annoying. I still wish they made Hebrew versions with Simcha Barbiro at the time (similar to my Hebrew speaking 12" Bob the Builder).

The Dragon is supposed to light up. How'd you turn it off? (Unless yours doesn't work).

...just wait until you hear the second generation Plarail talking Thomas...it is 10x more annoying the all of them put together!! Lol

I sure hope to fine one (or many)... That should complete the TnA collection, unless there are more..

Yes I sure hope you can locate me one too someday!!
...yes I got out bid by $1.00!! But there was a bit of collusion involved and the cartel made sure it was kept "in house" among the BPT family, so I was happy to see our friend and member win it!!! He got a great deal Smile

Excellent. Glad to hear someone on here got him. I will defiantly be on the lookout for the American Accent TnA James and for sure get you one if I find multiple..

Was there something wrong with the James in this video? Unlike the others, he repeated the theme tune 6 times in a row. Might be intentional.

I hadn't noticed, but most likely...I have notoriously bad luck with any James model:/ He does speak the 50 phrases manually, but that was only the second time he has ever been run and I'm really not that familiar with its functions.
