2015 RC Thomas' mad dash set

After seeing this video, https://youtu.be/3opuApPaWfU , I am even more disgusted with what this line has become
We want to continue collecting to stay current, and the new RC Thomas is a "must have" for the shelf, but this set design and construction is bordering on garbage and looks and feels like a cheap knockoff!!

In case anyone sees this and gets excited, they were already released, but even they are disappointing. They can only stop and go forwards. Just awful.

What is the deal with the one directional travel? Ever heard of switching, what Thomas and Percy do best?

Makes me wonder how rare the 2012 RC versions are now.
