Didn't Know This Disney Train Was A Set

Plarail Mickey Mouse train & colorful Rail Set

I have one of these neat Mickey Mouse Disney trains but it came by itself in a box. I didn't know that it also came in a set. I really like the Mickey Mouse Station and would love to have one for our train, the Western River Railroad Disney Trains or the Disney Sea Electric Railway Trams or modified for the Disney Monorails. Anyone have any info on this set like when it was released, where it was released (Disneyland Tokyo maybe?) and was it a very limited release? I assume that it isn't modeled after a real train but I don't know.

This set is called the "Mickey Mouse Train and Colourful Rail Set". It is a standard set sold between 1998 and 2000.

Very interesting, must not have been very popular as a set, can't even find any videos of it. There is a more recent set called about the same (Plarail Disney Dream Railway Mickey Mouse Colorful Set) with a steam train. Maybe I just better keep a sharper eye out for it, especially for that Mickey Mouse Station which is really what I would be after.
