What I'm about to post is my assumptions, which are not in anyway true. I know only as much as anyone else.
I'd like to think that because of the success of the MINIS, Fisher-Price would continuing holding on making mass productions of them, otherwise there would be nothing but sets and accessories, and anyone late to the party might have a limited choice of engines to choose from.
I reckon that a brand new blind bag series of 75 or so engines could be produced next year. To distinguish it from the last blind bags, it could use a different colour and have a cool sounding overall name. I think the series would have to re-release a quarter of the existing engines in the Classics theme, such as the Steam Team and a few extras, to ensure that people are guaranteed to have those engines at whatever stage they might be collecting had they missed out on the 2015 series. There would still be enough space for new engines, and plenty of opportunities for new themes, and by then there might be double the amount of Thomas, Percy, and James variants.
If we're lucky, we could even have another special mash-up theme or another Comic-Con exclusive, but I'm not holding my breath.
Again, all speculation, I do know nothing.
I found that Japanese poster as a downloadable from Fisher-Price's Japan website by the way.
Eight Super Friends MINIS are to be made in total, and four of those from the Comic-Con pack have been released in blind bags. Diesel as Batman (Dark Knight version) will stay exclusive to the Comic-Con item. We're expecting 4-packs of the DC Super Friends engines as well which were shown at New York Toy Fair last February, and there's three more engines in that theme we know of but there's no sign of these getting released so far.
Thanks for the help jdogman also if they made a Flynn in some type of series then there's gotta be a classic Flynn coming out. also here's some engines they maybe might can be realesed in classics Rheneas, sir Handel, Peter Sam, Rusty, Flynn, whiff, Rosie, belle, Ferdinand, Timothy, Connor, cailten, Marion, Stanley, Arthur and arry and if possible characters that hasn't been seen for a long time like boco, duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Bertram, duke, Duncan, ivo Hugh, Stepney and maybe even flying Scotsman

it can be fairly safe to say that characters todays kids dont know, wont get made unless they make a significant come back like daisy and the scottish twins did. i would love to see bertram at the very least, hes one of my favourites.
marion wont likely be made as she is not an engine, she is a digger of some sort. yes, she moves on the rails of her own power, but is still not an engine. same as rocky is unlikely.
duck, when you use a comma [,] can you please leave a space between that and the next word just to make it easier to read. i edited your above post by putting spaces in and that has made it much clearer to understand. thanks

Hello fellow Thomas fans! I've spent the last couple days reading this forum and learning a lot. My almost 2 year old daughter has it bad for all things trains, but especially Thomas. We've gotten her a starter set for the wooden railway and also started collecting the Mini's for an easy/compact travel toy. So far we've found all 4 of the 8 packs and 6 of the 3 packs, and the Golden Thomas storage wheel.
How many of the 3 packs are currently out in the US? I see 12 listed on the wiki pages, have not been able to find any of the last 4 (I, J, K, and L)
welcome, chevy! i dont know the availability of the packs in the usa. hopefully another member will have an answer for you.
duck, i dont know when, where or how the advent engines will be released. i cant answer your other question either. youd be best to email mattel or fisher-price and ask them direct.
I have only come across the first 6 3packs also. Will post as soon as I do find anything new (in SoCal)
I have only found 6 3-packs also. I have not found E, F, I, or J. Those letters are according to my list I posted earlier.
ah ok, I wondered if we might be searching for something that wasn't out yet. The 6 we have are A, B, C, D, H, and G. I'll keep watching the thread for more info.
Also, Cou10gar thanks for sharing the info on your storage boxes, our local walmart didn't have them but I found them on Amazon.com and ordered a few today.

I use the same ones for my son's collection and I will second this statement. They fit great!
