Finally - New Gordon Running - Super - 04-01-2015
Finally got to see the New Tomy Gordon running with those new side rods.....fantastic, I love em. I want to switch all my existing trains with these. They look mush more realistic. Way to go Tomy on improving something as simple as this. You could have taken the cheap way like someone we all know but I am glad that put in so much detail to your trains. Guess I am going to have to buy a few dozen of these just to swap out the side rods. Anyone know if this is a one time thing or will they change all future released trains with side rods with these? What do you all think?
I also like the new colored Express Coach although I wish it was two toned like the rest. A cream color around the windows would give a nice contrast to the brown.

According to Hobby Search there are 2 new releasing Gordons, The recently released OT-04 3 Car Talking set like in the above video and the soon to be released TS-04 which I am guessing is the non-talking version. Wonder if this one is a 3 car unit with the same rear Express Coach as the talking version, anyone know? I can't wait to grab a set of these new style rods to see how they will look on a black steam engine.

Looks like the one you ordered (TS-04) has the same two toned Green Express Coach as his previous releases. This will surely bring the price down for the used green coaches on Ebay I would think.

I'm not going to lie-- this newly designed side rod looks as simple as the previous ones, but has a lot more detail to it! I might have to switch it out with the current side rods my Plarail Gordon has; I hope it doesn't affect the performance of the engine, but that will have to wait until I get one, or until I hear something from this website.

This loco is perfect!!! My only two gripes-side cab windows aren't painted and unusual for Tomy, no front cab windows!!!!! Like honestly?

I was upset that the new James (chassis renewal) not having front cab windows hope this doesn't become a trend with Tomy!

Suzukawa unboxes the new Tomy Talking Gordon. Looks like he is pretty strong hauling that rake of trucks up and down those hills. Rods look great.
