That's 12 years ago...the batteries were flattening out into lumpy globs they'd been in there sooooo long!!...just don't know when I'll find the time to try and fix it...bummer. C size AA and AAA's. Now I don't mind the battery's being in them because I always open everything up I receive to make sure they work but its all the unnecessary added weight to the shipping charges that I would rather not pay.
