Gator and Oliver Modifications - HankAmericanEngine - 01-13-2015 Just a little quick mod on TM 2.0 Gator-- He steams! And he has black buffers! As for Oliver, I got a paint that is very close to his own to paint his front wheels. RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - Ucwepn - 01-14-2015 nice job mate. RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - HankAmericanEngine - 01-14-2015 Thanks, Ucwepn. To be quite honest, I'm still getting used to Oliver having his wheels green. RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - Super - 01-14-2015 Love the smoke affect. Can't wait to see them running in a video. RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - JulianTheTankEngine - 01-14-2015 a master piece!!!!!!!!!!! RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - HankAmericanEngine - 01-14-2015 Thank you, JulianTheTankEngine! RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - JulianTheTankEngine - 01-15-2015 But Are you going to give Oliver a white or perhaps black footplate? BTW, I am getting a new Oliver soon, because my old one's front wheel is not working! and is there a way to remove the siderods without breaking the tab? RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - HankAmericanEngine - 01-15-2015 Howdy Julian! I'm not too sure about giving him the white footplate just yet, but I have taken it into consideration. To be honest, you can remove the side rods with great ease; you just have to be very careful when you do so. Oh dear! I'm sorry to hear that about your Oliver with his front wheels; you should try cleaning the axle and then spinning the wheels to see if it works. If it doesn't work, let me know; I've a few tricks that made my troublesome axle work like new again. RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - JulianTheTankEngine - 01-15-2015 Hank my friend, the mid tab that holds the rods had broke and i have to glue it back, Very sad. But don't worry because i am going to spend HK$300 on a new oliver! Trains are beautiful!!! RE: Gator and Oliver Modifications - HankAmericanEngine - 01-15-2015 Oh dear! That's not good at all! I've never had that happen to my Oliver before. Glad to hear that you'll be getting another one very soon, but $300HK? |
