I did a little looking around and it seems there are more of these train rides around the country than this video alludes to according to Rail events. They let you search their site for the closest event.

My only beef is the train events, even Day out with Thomas are expensive for a family affair.
Out of all the events marketed to families for entertainment, such as the circus, a family that has budgets to meet are only going to afford one or two such events a year or ever.

I justify buying a train set that one can play with all year to only one or two outings as more fun for a family. It's all about making memories. But it is fun to try and do one or two of these events when kids are little.
