couple of small things... - sunhuntin - 11-22-2014 not much new stuff, but a couple of really good buys!! first up, revolution gordons hill. the store had all fisher-price at 50% off, so at $25 i couldnt say no, lol. no way would i have paid the full $50 for a box of track. and this lot i got online for $12. got into a minor bidding war with someone whose only other feedback was 2 non-completed on low value items. no doubt theyd have done the same on this listing. i mainly wanted the peppermint cars, but happy to have the rest considering the price. they were between $15 and $20 per set originally. maybe a few more bits in the next couple of weeks. have found another elevated set locally, which i hope to get for $50. be good to have two. RE: couple of small things... - Super - 11-22-2014 Those peppermint (candycane) tankers would look good on a holiday train. Hmmm, thanks for bringing this up as I have one of those I was at my local Walmart yesterday and they had a ton of the original Trackmaster Thomas and Friends trains ranging in price from about $10 to $15 US dollars. They had more of the original ones than the new style. RE: couple of small things... - sunhuntin - 11-22-2014 dont tell ucwepn... he will get you to go shopping for him!! lol. yes, a holiday train is exactly what i was thinking. ive actually adjusted my christmas layout again, adding both a left and right hand point and also one of those 3way points . i can store 9 spare bits of rolling stock down the 3way and another 3-4 on the remaining single. RE: couple of small things... - Ucwepn - 11-22-2014 LOL sadly its all gone here! Snap up the ones you like Super they will all be gone soon RE: couple of small things... - Super - 11-22-2014 Also sadly...we are not into the Thomas and Friends trains. Now if they were the regular trains of Plarail/Tomy, I would have filled a shopping cart with them. |
