Anyone know this passenger car? - Destination Realization - 10-12-2024 So got this and I cant find anything online Also this is the Southern Pacific variant it's mint and only out of box, it's from 1975 I believe Tidmouth Sheds before Tidmouth Sheds lol RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - Super - 10-12-2024 I believe that is the California Zephyr's Silver Solarium car RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - Destination Realization - 10-12-2024 Thanks Super! I’ll check if it is RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - Super - 10-12-2024 RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - Destination Realization - 10-12-2024 The type yeah, but not livery, mine is southern Pacific RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - Super - 10-12-2024 I couldn't find an actual Southern Pacific example but there are several that used the Silver Solarium. I have also seen it called the Silver Splendor on a Burlington train. Although you can't see the side of the car this photo is Captioned with "The Rear End of our Southern Pacific 4449 Train" RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - JustTylerHere - 10-12-2024 The Southern Pacific livery could've just been a fictional livery. It's not too uncommon for model train companies to release rolling stock in fictional liveries. RE: Anyone know this passenger car? - Destination Realization - 10-12-2024 Hmmm,, it also could be a prototype, but I don’t think so, Thanks for you help Super and JT! Ahhhh it uses the red plate of the Canadian pacific but replaces Canadian with Southern |
