Motor lubricant for Tomy engines? - gmeehanfilms - 01-24-2023

Hi all,

I was curious to know what motor lubricant/grease to use for your tomy trains? I was looking to clean up some of the motor compartments in my trains. Any suggestions?

Cheers!

Any plastic safe lubricant should be just fine

I use two different types of Lubricant. First is the 'RCLube-XP' which is a white lithium grease for plastic gears in the remote controlled word. I use this to put a thin layer on the gears of our trains. Works great and is not messy. For the shafts that are within the motors themselves I use this 'Pin Point Lubricator' which I find great because with the syringe type needle you can get a very tiny drop of lubricant into a small space.
