Kato N Gauge Silver Streak Zephyr - Nigels - 02-23-2022 My latest addition, a real beauty this one (and USA outline for a change)... RE: Kato N Gauge Silver Streak Zephyr - PerkyHydrAan - 02-24-2022 as a kid, seing the zephyr even only the ilustration, making me scared. idk why. Btw, that looks cool! do you have to use gloves like the chrome plarails? RE: Kato N Gauge Silver Streak Zephyr - Super - 02-24-2022 The EMD's are some of my most favorite trains with the awesome Baggage cars and coaches especially the last one with its ovaled rear. I have always wanted to do a Plarail version of that to go along with the Amtrak but haven't come up with a good idea of how to pull that off. Are there any inside details to the coaches? No need for gloves as far as I know, I'll let you know when I get her on the track (02-24-2022, 11:48 AM)Super Wrote: The EMD's are some of my most favorite trains with the awesome Baggage cars and coaches especially the last one with its ovaled rear. Yeah it is a lovely train overall, I like that each car is designed differently, not just a name change, but each is unique. As for internal detail, yes all the way, each car has a detailed seated interior etc... and can take the coach lighting kits (I have a set on order which were going in my class 800, but may well end up in these instead ). The locomotive has working lights as does the observation car which already has a lit interior as well as tail lights etc... Believe it or not I bought it from Amazon.com and had it shipped to the UK and doing that it was still nearly half the price I'd pay for the same set here in the UK, shockingly disgusting if you ask me the difference in pricing... Mind you at UK prices it was still only about the same as an OO gauge pacific loco, but here I get the whole set for less than an OO loco... |
