Stripped of the Special Chassis & Tracks - Super - 09-27-2021 Got this to have the special reversing chassis and activation tracks. RE: Stripped of the Special Chassis & Tracks - leylandvictory2 - 09-28-2021 have you tested the train yet, super? RE: Stripped of the Special Chassis & Tracks - Super - 09-28-2021 Yes, I did. Tested on 2 different Trams since Plarail hasn't...yet...made a Diesel shunter that has the latest 2 chassis that can be swapped. This reversing chassis worked perfectly in the Tokyo Sakura Tram. I was able to add 1.5 ounces of weight inside the nose to take away the wheelly that happens when the chassis goes from forward to reverse. Doesn't have the same problem going from reverse to forward so no weights in the rear are necessary. However in the Eizan (KF-04) Tram there is a tiny piece of plastic on both sides inside of the shell that interferes with the small axle of the reversing gear so it can't move correctly. This will be a simple fix as removing a tiny bit of each side allows to gear shaft to move back and forth. Funny how on the Eizan that those pieces of plastic are exactly where the shaft is.
