Paxton Model? - Argozyy - 02-16-2021 While browsing google images today trying to find some Tomy layouts to try and make I came across this image here and it was apparently from Walmart.com but when I went to look for it I couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m aware there is a Diesel, Iron Bert and Arry but I’m not sure if they ever made a Paxton model since I’ve never seen anyone with it. RE: Paxton Model? - GreatGordonFan - 02-16-2021 Could you leave a link to the said image as i cannot see it. RE: Paxton Model? - chrisjo - 02-16-2021 Paxton is real. Here's a link to his page on the Thomas Motorised Wiki. Bachmann has made Thomas & Friends products since 2002, and moving eyes have always been a prominent feature. Every engine has them except narrow gauge and N scale (which are too small). Rolling stock and non rail characters don't have (and don't need) them. The feature itself is not all that unique or impressive; the eyes merely move side to side while the model is running, and they can't be controlled separately or move in other directions. RE: Paxton Model? - Mister No - 02-16-2021 And for 2021 Bachmann announced Paxton (and Diesel) even in their large scale (1:22,5): RE: Paxton Model? - Super - 02-17-2021 Wow...those are huge. Are they working engines??? If so the Layouts must be huge also. RE: Paxton Model? - Mister No - 02-17-2021 Yes, it's for garden railways mostly, it's a G-scale (commonly called "Large scale" in America), but you can build it in your room or in your basement, I suppose... RE: Paxton Model? - Super - 02-17-2021 I have seen a lot of Garden Railway videos with G Scale trains and I guess I really couldn't see the size of them until the above picture with the man holding them. Gives em a different perspective. |
