RE: Good Evening, PlarailTown - PlarailTown - 12-03-2019 @Super Thanks!!! RE: Good Evening, PlarailTown - Off The Rails - 12-04-2019 That was a great video. Your layout is so fun and whimsical. RE: Good Evening, PlarailTown - Nigels - 12-04-2019 That's a great layout mate, have you looked at using 'EL wire' to illuminate the layout? It may work even better than the strings of LED's you have there. If you've not heard of it 'EL wire' is an electroluminesent wire, this is flexible like a piece of plastic wire and glows a particular colour. It usually comes with a little 'driver' box that takes a couple of AA's. The wire can be fitted wherever you want and can even be trimmed to length if needed. It is also available in strips of flat plastic so you get more of a panel of light rather than a string. The driver box can also usually produce 'effects' such as flashing, pulsing or similar. It is also fairly cheap as well, a few bucks for a metre or more, you can also get splitters so that a single driver box can power multiple lengths of EL wire RE: Good Evening, PlarailTown - PlarailTown - 12-05-2019 @Nigels Thanks for the advice! |
