Train Jigsaws - AOF04 - 09-15-2019 HI All I had thought about posting this earlier, but wasn't sure I really wanted too. But Super asked a question about my last post where I had a Train jigsaw in the back ground. So here is the 6 Train Jigsaws I have done this winter (Southern Hemisphere). I love the painting versions of Jigsaws and when I saw a whole lot of these come up a while back I jumped at them. Completed June Completed July Completed July Completed August Completed August Completed September I have 2 more in this series to do. RE: Train Jigsaws - Super - 09-16-2019 Wow, do you seal them after completion? RE: Train Jigsaws - AOF04 - 09-16-2019 I have not done any of that YET, but I am thinking about it, maybe even framing them one day. They are beautiful pictures RE: Train Jigsaws - sunhuntin - 09-16-2019 Nice, A0F! My folks have a few in their puzzle stash, too. There is one that has the kingston flyer, too. RE: Train Jigsaws - AOF04 - 10-01-2019 Well finished this puzzle today. No. 7 for the NZ winter RE: Train Jigsaws - Super - 10-01-2019 Beautiful graphics AOF. Now that summer is on its way for NZ, what are you going to do now? RE: Train Jigsaws - drewbenn - 10-01-2019 Those look really fun! Thanks for sharing. I've been in the garage a lot the last couple weekends playing with power tools while finishing up my workbench, so when I saw the subject line I assumed this thread would be about taking trains apart not putting them together. RE: Train Jigsaws - leylandvictory2 - 10-01-2019 how many pieces for each puzzle? I believe somebody made a 3D puzzle of a Flying Scottsman RE: Train Jigsaws - AOF04 - 10-01-2019 Each Jigsaw / Puzzle is 1000 piece. This puzzle features a painting by renowned railway artist Barry Freeman. It shows double-heading Great Western Railway locomotives passing a lock on the Kennet & Avon Canal. The leading locomotive is 'Saint' class 4-6-0, No.2982 Lalla Rookh, with 'Castle' class 4-6-0 No.4093 Dunster Castle, behind. The painting also appears on the cover of the book "THE RAILWAY PAINTINGS OF BARRY J. FREEMAN". Remarkably, this loco is one of eleven survivors of this class, presently on static display at Didcot Railway Centre. Do we want more? |
