Lionel J class - Jaytrain1 - 06-03-2019 Got this model of the Norfolk and Western's third and final J class locomotive: This engine was part of Lionel's "Big Rugged Trains" line, which was a series of 1:120 scale non-motorized metal engines released around 1999-2000. I have a few more that I'll show when I get around to it. They also had a smaller, 1:160 (N) scale version of the line, of which I have an engine somewhere... These are really nice models, it's a shame there weren't further series of them. Would have also been nice if some rolling stock, track, playmat, and/or accessories were made for the line as well... RE: Lionel J class - Super - 06-03-2019 That is an awesome engine RE: Lionel J class - Nigels - 06-03-2019 I've got the original Bachmann HO limited edition version of that loco (or at least the same class), have to say it is a lovely loco... RE: Lionel J class - Off The Rails - 06-04-2019 Oh, that’s very nice! The surviving J Class number 611 is one that I hope to see running in person one day. |
