Excited!!! - Super - 03-18-2019

These items arrived yesterday and I am just ecstatic.

First we have:

I think this rounds out our collection of the Tomica Hamburger Trucks. We have all 5 now and whats neat about them is no burger on any of them is the same. They are either singles or doubles but the buns and/or the condiments on the burgers are different. Of course we also need a Mister Donut box truck delivering sweet goodness.

Finally have the final of 12 of the actual Livestock wagons so my animal mods are complete.

Since I have been gathering so many motorized vehicles I thought it may help in a Layout to save space these Road track U-Turns. Is anyone familiar with their use? Even though one is new I find they don't work very well. I did have to replace split gears in the new one and haven't looked inside the used one yet. There are many gears inside and I hope not many are split there too.

I am so excited to have nabbed this elusive Disney Resort Cruiser Set as I believe that this is the only motorized Disney Mickey Vehicle there is and a beauty the Disney Cruiser is. The set is new and the playmat is a map of the Tokyo Disneyland Theme Park. Does anyone know the release date for this? Looking at the sales tag it sold at the Disney Resort for 2000yen. To the left of the price is some numbers 02-10...could it mean made in Feburary 2010?
Just so excited to add this to the collection as I had this on the list of the hardest to find Motor Vehicles and the only Disney branded? Please let me know if there may be one I am not aware of. Only 3 more Hard to Find vehicles to go.

Oh wow.. that is very cool Super. I love the Disney monorails and trains produced so seeing this vehicle is awesome. Will you run this on be layout at some point?

Oh yes, for sure some Road Track will be somewhere on the new Layout when that occurs and if I can find room, the Disney Layout. I really have to stop buying as I keep amassing so much stuff that I don't need with bulk purchases to get what I want that I spend a lot of time organizing all those items and selling them on Ebay. As you know yourself that can eat up a considerable amount of the free time one has for Layout building.

That resort cruiser is very cool and a great find!

I have the same issue with acquisition interfering with actual building. I often find myself planning more ideal layouts and thinking “If I just get “X”, I’ll be able to do that.”
