Finally! - MuddyPoppins - 11-18-2018

Finally we were able to secure the very old/ long out of print P33 Yurakucho 7000 WITH ITS BOX!!
Kinda got in a bidding war over it, so I had to set my alarm this morning @ 5:30 to finish off the battle...when the smoke cleared, old glory stood tall! Smile

RE: Finally! - Nigels - 11-18-2018

Nice one Muddy, I like some of the commuter/underground type trains as well, some are pretty cool Smile

RE: Finally! - Super - 11-18-2018

I am not familiar with that one Muddy but if you were after it it must be something. Any background info you can share?

RE: Finally! - leylandvictory2 - 11-19-2018

I remember seeing something similar except it has a green stripe instead of yellow.  Sadly the ones I saw on ebay are somewhat in a rough shape.

RE: Finally! - MuddyPoppins - 11-20-2018

I can't find too much about the Yurakucho 7000 other than its early 2000's (stamped 2002) and has red wheels. There are a few different models...and orange striped model w/ lights, and also the metallic silver model w/green stripe that Leyland mentioned.
They are very similar to BART trains of the San Francisco area here in California.
I did find a web site in Indonesia that had lots of Plarail info about these but unfortunately I am unable to read it.Sad

RE: Finally! - Super - 11-21-2018

Thank you Chrisjo Smile

RE: Finally! - MuddyPoppins - 11-21-2018

Yes thank you Chrisjo, but I still can't read it...
Are the other 2 that are shown also 7000's?
Does it say when it was made?

RE: Finally! - chrisjo - 11-21-2018

The yellow one is called 'Yurakucho Line 7000 Series', the green one is 'Namboku Line 9000 Series', and the red one 'Tokyu Meguro Line 3000 series', but I don't think the latter two are similar to the 7000. So that wasn't the best picture to put here, sorry. I'm still looking for a release date for the 7000.

RE: Finally! - MuddyPoppins - 11-21-2018

Thank you chrisjo!!
Yes there are a few variations of the 7000 series, but I am after the release date of the yellow striped version.
* there is also a 10000 as well, but it and the others do not look the same either.
Thank you again!Smile
