It had to happen, finally I get a 00 gauge Hornby Thomas (and carriages), the reason I waited? Well wasn't in a hurry, but more importantly this one is DCC fitted to go with Bill I got the other month Smile

WOAH. Are you aware that that particular Thomas model is one of the rarest? These were only made in 1985. Those aren't easy to come by, especially in such good condition.

Have to say I didn't know it was that rare, when I saw it I was attracted by the fact it had been DCC converted. But it is immaculate as are the Annie and Claribel carriages that came with it. I should have guessed the age by the fact they are gloss finished instead of the full Matt finish the more modern models have.
