Trackmaster Express Nex Train - bollard - 02-28-2018 anybody know anything about this one please? it has lights and two speed. seems to be sold both as an individual train and as a set of three. ![]() ![]() iteresting text on the sales blurb:- 'the color of the light will change back and forth'. RE: Trackmaster Express Nex Train - Super - 02-28-2018 Ahh..the Narita Express, fond memories of this one as it was the first 'unusual' train my Grandson was attracted to and wanted. There has been 2 releases of this, both have 2 speeds but no lights. The first release, 2009, with the older chassis like the one you have pictured http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10095463 The second release, 2015, with updated chassis and motor http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10309650 The lighting unit you have pictured was a stand alone or add on release with its own friction generator and released in 2011. When pushed forward the lights are yellow and when reversed they would be red. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10131264 I have had these and since they aren't motorized they really only can be used as a trailing car and shine red...and shine they do, the red is very bright. There intended use may have been for children to push and pull them by hand. RE: Trackmaster Express Nex Train - bollard - 02-28-2018 that explains things - there was on on sBay, I asked if the lights worked and the guy selling said 'i don't think so' but then it didn't actually have lights, that was the top one of the images above. |
