FENBO Eurostar????? - Chrizzly - 01-19-2018 What? I didn't think Fenbo was ever sold in Europe. Guess I was wrong. Anyone seen this before? https://picclick.co.uk/Tomy-Trackmaster-Eurostar-High-Speed-Train-Thomas-The-332518348914.html RE: FENBO Eurostar????? - Super - 01-19-2018 I don't think I have seen a Fenbo EuroStar before. Are you sure its Fenbo, it looks like the trains that Nigels was collecting that had gray track with round connectors. I can't remember what those were called so maybe they were called Fenbo. Could they also be in the Kansai (spelling?) range? I will look on the Auctions of Japan. Ok...determined It can't be the sets Nigels was collecting as they were middle car powered. RE: FENBO Eurostar????? - Nigels - 01-19-2018 The ones me and AC were buying were branded 'Daiso' (if I recall correctly), that one looks more like a Kansai based on the connector types and the battery compartment. If so they are roughly the same scale/axle-width as the Tomy trains, however I can't guarantee that they would run as well on blue track as Tomy... Hope this helps ![]() RE: FENBO Eurostar????? - Ucwepn - 01-21-2018 Yes that's the fenbo, they were sold in Eastern Europe and I think still are, there is also an F unit diesel and a steam train with static traction rods. Also sold under the name "Do city" http://www.justaddkids.com.au/do-city-junior-deluxe-train-set-132pc http://www.globaltoysandgames.com/pdetails.php?pid=808 RE: FENBO Eurostar????? - Chrizzly - 01-22-2018 Thanks. Didn't know about the steam engine either. Any pictures? Also, this doesn't explain the origins of the middle car. Was there another Fenbo set with a complete Eurostar? RE: FENBO Eurostar????? - Ucwepn - 01-22-2018 The first link in my post has a picture of the steam train. Yes there was likely another set available with the 3 car set. |
