It's funny, when I woke up I expected to see a nice blanket of white covering everything, but saw nothing. However, it's starting to fall pretty consistently now.

Yep, we got it here yesterday. I haven’t seen an official total but some places reported 5 or more inches. That’s not a lot for those of you in snowy regions but in the US Gulf Coast area, it’s extremely rare.

RE: SNOWWWW! - PopGoesOldOllie - 12-09-2017

Same for me! Now would be a great time to film some trains in the snow. Smile

RE: SNOWWWW! - Off The Rails - 12-09-2017

Yep, I got a couple shots of my DD14-DE10 snowplow train clearing the track and posted them yesterday.

RE: SNOWWWW! - PopGoesOldOllie - 12-09-2017

Really wish I had a snowplow train right about now, never got any of The snowplow trains when they were coming out because it never snows here Wink

That was my thinking too! I got the diesel set because I found it reasonably cheap on eBay and I mostly wanted the DD14. I briefly considered selling or trading the snowplow but now I’m glad I kept it.
I’m about 70 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico and our normal winter weather is more like spring in the midwest; 4-5 months of warm, unstable atmosphere with frequent severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. I’ll take snow over that any time!Wink
