I Blame Shimakaze! - Super - 12-08-2017

I blame Shimakaze for this one. Because we were talking about Tomica Town, and Tomica Cars I found this new in the box while searching for the rare Motorized McDonalds Truck. The Box truck in this set is similar to the one Shimakaze has in that it has 6 wheels with 4 up front. What was the selling point for me on the set was the Mazda Bongo Friendee Pop Up Camper Van that really pops up. Does anyone know exactly when this set was released and how or where were they sold? The box has a 1998 copywrite McDonalds Corporation but that doesn't mean it was released then only that it had to have come at sometime after. The London Bus has 1977 Tomy, The Box Truck has 1996 Tomy, the GTR car has 1995 Tomy and The Camper has 1995 Tomy.

Because I HAD Dodgy to add something to the shipping I couldn't pass up a very low opening bid on this original Thomas & Black James set. Hey, its not my fault nobody else even tried to bid on it. They would have had it if they did as I wasn't going any higher than the opener. Since I already have this set I was thinking of defacing these. Big Grin

Haha.. “had to...”. That is sort of like “might as well” I suppose. Big Grin

Are those motorized?

RE: I Blame Shimakaze! - Super - 12-08-2017

These McDonalds vehicles are not motorized. As far as I know there is only one and it just so happens I bought one just a couple hours ago so I can scratch that one off the list..

How is the holiday Layout doing Ripley, any changes?

RE: I Blame Shimakaze! - ripley802 - 12-08-2017

Ah, ok.

Layout is about the same, I need to do a few other small things then need to get a video of it. Sad to say though, I am already to rebuild it..lol..Big GrinDodgy

The "Had to" virus is a recent mutation of the "Might As Well" virus. They are part of the same family.
