I’ve often imagined these auctions coming about because some guy’s wife says “You need to get rid of all this stuff!” He says “Fine then, I’ll sell it on eBay.” A few weeks later, he goes “Honey, I’m sorry but nobody’s buying anything! Guess I’ll have to hang on to it for now.”

This is actually one of the rarest coach set ever released by FisherPrice!! $700 is a bit high though...they usually only go for $400-$500. Lol

Really??? seems to me that I have seen these at normal prices but maybe I am confusing it with others. I know I have sold several of these coaches used before.

Yes used they're not so rare, but bnib they're exceptionally rare.
I remember when they were released and I hated them! They sat on Target and Kmart shelves and no one would buy them...they ended up in secondary stores like Ross, TJMax, and Khols, marked down in thier small cheesy toy sections... That's when I finally broke down and bought one for something like $6.99, but I regretfully opened it not knowing that it would someday end up being so rare.
