RE: motors - trevor369 - 08-10-2017 yeah but when i tried in a new thread i had trouble i'm not getting the link to add attachments. please advise RE: motors - Super - 08-10-2017 Use this free 3rd party host, you don't have to have a membership to post images. https://postimages.org/ RE: motors - trevor369 - 08-10-2017 i'm not a good at tht but ty all the same. there is a train i own. its to a set. some call it "the Egyptian set" it has brown tracks, some puzzles, etc etc but the motor in this train blows away a 3spd gordon. my question is... what is the most powerful motor- in regards to these tains mind you-and how hard is it to switch them out? RE: motors - MuddyPoppins - 08-10-2017 (08-10-2017, 02:19 AM)trevor369 Wrote: i'm not a good at tht but ty all the same. Ah yes..."the chariot of the gods"!! The chariot speeder is quite fast isn't it? Very speedy for a stock motor... There are a couple different upgraded motors that can be swapped out fairly easily I believe. One is called a hyper-dash, the other I do not recall, but Ucwepn would know, and has made YouTube videos about them where he shows their packaging and then installed. It's the only thread that the "add photo" prompter appears for me. RE: motors - ripley802 - 08-10-2017 I think Light Dash is the other one. Trevor, if you go this route, you may want to look at rechargeable batteries too as these motors drain regular batteries pretty fast. ![]() RE: motors - trevor369 - 08-10-2017 chariot of the gods, k ty. it is quite fast. 1 of my favorite non thomas trains. hyper dash-huh. k ty u again very much RE: motors - Nigels - 08-11-2017 (08-10-2017, 01:56 PM)trevor369 Wrote: chariot of the gods, k ty. it is quite fast. 1 of my favorite non thomas trains. hyper dash-huh. k ty u again very much If it helps I believe these are Tamiya motors if I'm recalling the original thread correctly, so should be available from any Tamiya model stockist...
