It's just a normal train but why is it so expensive and sought after. I don't get the reason for paying over $75 for a train that was produced in millions upon millions just like every other train in the tomy/plarail/trackmaster line. RE: Why is Oliver so expensive? - Nigels - 06-05-2017 Simply because it was never released in all markets, so therefore in some countries like the USA it can only be bought as an import... ![]() RE: Why is Oliver so expensive? - Super - 06-05-2017 You may also like to check out this Thread https://www.blueplastictracks.com/showthread.php?tid=2491&highlight=Oliver RE: Why is Oliver so expensive? - Tharazero1 - 06-05-2017 (06-05-2017, 01:22 PM)Super Wrote: You may also like to check out this Thread https://www.blueplastictracks.com/showthread.php?tid=2491&highlight=Oliver Thank you RE: Why is Oliver so expensive? - grodriguez - 06-05-2017 (06-05-2017, 12:25 PM)Tharazero1 Wrote: Hi guys, a lot of you have tomy olivers and i have one myself but I was just wondering why they are so expensive? It's expensive because: 1) He was never released in the US 2) He's VERY RARE 3) He was only released in the UK and Japan RE: Why is Oliver so expensive? - Tharazero1 - 06-05-2017 (06-05-2017, 09:13 PM)grodriguez Wrote: On my case I paid for Oliver £50 on Amazon UK, that means $62,48. RE: Why is Oliver so expensive? - Tharazero1 - 06-06-2017 Just wondering aren't there 2 versions, one that is marked as 2003 tomy and the other one 1998 tomy. Mine is 2003 but which one is rarer?
