i saw this set from Amazon.

Does anybody know if the grey stub holds up to 3 tracks?

It sure looks like they work with three doesn't it? This is a very special set as I believe that station with its pedestrian walkway and the white freight engine are exclusive to this set and now that you bring it up, I don't think I have seen those supports anywhere else either. that's what i thought but I don't want to spend over $200 to take the risk.

Those allow you to put a underground station on it. You can try and put 3 tracks on it but it might not fit properly.

Hi I found my track over road girders and took some pictures for you. You can run 3 tracks along it, as it has appropriate tabs to hold 3 sets of tracks in place. hope this helps! Big Grin

That is a way better deal than the Amazon listing unless you have to have the complete set!

WOW that is a Steal! great find That is the lowest price I have ever seen on that set. even in Japan the White EF 60 goes for more than that on its own
