Interesting although I am not a fan of the mega world companies dominating and dictating what is out there.

Yeah, sometimes when larger companies merge the customers are the ones who loose out.

How about Has-Mat for a new name, that should drive sales! Lol

what about brotel? [would anyone like to buy an H?]

super, like you im not big on corportations having a monopoly like that. peeved me right off when disney bought star wars, marvel and whatever else theyve devoured in recent years. to me, disney is mickey mouse and snow white, not han solo and ironman.

pixar i dont mind them being owned so much, because disney saved that company back in the day, and without their backing, pixar films would never have existed.

"Has-Mat" sounds like Hazmat. That would most likely make consumers think the products are dangerous and attempt to avoid them at all costs.

And all this time I thought the two hated each other.

I don't like the sound of the idea, although it's still only early stages. These two and LEGO would be a very strong rivalry if that happened though. I could imagine there would be some naming issues like how Takara's and Tomy's individual properties had. That would be a pretty radical name change though: Hasbro-Mattel, Mattel-Hasbro, H-M, M-H Toy Company? Least our favourite brands shouldn't be affected much.
