Have you seen this track? - Miksolo - 01-24-2016

I've been searching for about an hour everywhere in my house for two Female-Female 1/4 straights from Plarail.

I bought them a few months ago in the 9-pack of quarter-straights. I swear I take good care of the track and trains, and make sure every piece I own is put away whenever they need to be put away. Yet, as of tonight, it turns out I'm missing most of the track. I specifically need a female-female 1/4 straight for a small layout I'm making. But, I'm also missing 2 male-males and 1 male-female.

Any ideas on how to substitute for the track or assistance in locating them???

I most likely will not be allowed to buy the pack again, not unless it was super underpriced, since I only bought it a few months ago.
Because I bought 100 dollars worth of track and a new Thomas recently, I have to wait until March/April to get anything else train-related.

Keep digging, maybe you will find them yet. Are you sure they aren't still attached to another piece of longer track or all still attached to each other where you would pass over them in the box looking for something smaller?

Actually, two of them were connected to other pieces of track the last time I put away a layout, but those two were already found before I realized the rest were missing. I've searched to the bottom of the box, and in other bins too, and under the couch, but still no sign of the tracks.
