Do you own these? If so, have you opened them? If not, just buy 1 and try it. That's how I started with Plarail Advance, should work for these!

They just have toys inside and sometimes a biscuit (which you would not want if it has been in there for 10 years or more)
I think the Plarail one has a Capsule Plarail inside and the Tomica just has a Tomica inside. The picture you are showing must be an old one because the new ones have plastic wrapping around and are "child safe" as it's just a lid.
