Name of This Pen? - Super - 10-20-2015 I watch all the videos from this fellow but I don't know his name. He has some great box & bag openings with used trains that he either gets from Ebay or the many resale shops he visits. In a lot of his videos I see him using this white pen to remove marks on these trains. It must be some kind of eraser with a solution in it. Does anyone know what it is, what it is called or where we could get one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKFfMaDnuFs RE: Name of This Pen? - plarnold - 10-21-2015 I just watched the section where you took the screenshot from. It is an isopropyl alcohol pen. You can get them as CD writing eraser pens. You can just buy bottles of isopropyl alcohol if you want to use it to remove things. CAUTION: It removes printing on the paper stickers! Hope this helps! -plarnold RE: Name of This Pen? - Ucwepn - 10-21-2015 I think I ordered one today on ebay although for my other hobby, it's called a gundam marker eraser. RE: Name of This Pen? - Super - 10-21-2015 @ Plarnold Thank you for the help and the warning about the use on stickers. Does it say anywhere on the channel his name or screen name? @ Ucwepn Thanks, found about the only US seller that had them at a reasonable price. Also noticed that they sell a whole line of marker paints too for this brand. Is that what you are using for your other hobby and if so, how do you like them. I was confused as they call them both a marker stick and a paint stick which in my book is two different things. RE: Name of This Pen? - plarnold - 10-21-2015 @Super, What do you mean by "his name" or "screen name"? His username is his Youtube account name 松岡純正 (99journey). -plarnold RE: Name of This Pen? - Super - 10-21-2015 Thank you Plarnold ![]() RE: Name of This Pen? - Ucwepn - 10-21-2015 Yes well my other hobby at the present is of course collecting transformers and of course the odd custom, I have only one gundam marker at the moment and it's a GM01 200 (black pen type), I ordered some more yesterday though a GM02 200 (grey pen type) and a gundam marker eraser pen. These pens are used for painting in the panel lines to show the hidden detail in colored platic toys and models. There are also GM301 etc which are more like a pin wash paint than a marker where it flows through the line instead of drawing in it by hand. Here is my Hasbro Brainstorm figure that I have panel lined using GM01 ![]() RE: Name of This Pen? - Super - 10-21-2015 So its all those black lines that you added? RE: Name of This Pen? - Ucwepn - 10-22-2015 Yep RE: Name of This Pen? - Super - 10-22-2015 That is awesome. Really makes the model pop. Nice idea and work. |
