Shinkansen Deformation Robot Shinkarion Series E5 Hayabusa - Super - 07-15-2015

Video showing the soon to be released Tomy/Plarail Shinkansen Deformation Robot Shinkarion Series E5 Hayabusa A Transformer type toy disguised as an E5 Bullet Train. For some reason I thought these would be motorized but by the looks of the video they are not. The assembly/dis-assembly of the toy is shown after the cartoon of the Shinarion Robots at about the 2:21 minute mark. It amazes me how and where they start with these on the drawing table to still make it look exactly like a Tomy/Plarail train but yet still have all the looks of the Shinkarion Robot after moving it around. Where do you start with engineering like that.

The engineering sure is impressive and I suppose it may be possible to couple that train to an existing motorised E5 if you wanted to. Even if you had the two transformer ends at the front and back of the train as the existing E5 model has retractable magnetic couplings Smile
