guess who i just bought! - sunhuntin - 05-13-2015 just got two items from the same seller. one is buzz buzz james in really good shape, the other is a toby and he looks almost brand new. got both for a really good price. the james needs the tender coupler replaced, which i can do easily enough. any guesses as to which toby this is? According to Ucwepn's video the copper load in the truck also flips which doubles as a battery holder. What I find odd is that if this is a Trackmaster USA release only, why has Toby have gray wheels and a number 7 sticker as only the Tomy versions do. The Trackmasters have a painted #7 and black wheels. Right? Does his face flip with the special tracks or is he only manually flipped with the button? It also uses a special piece of track to activate the face action too.. RE: guess who i just bought! - sunhuntin - 05-14-2015 thanks,nwr. so glad i was able to get him, but also sorry you couldnt. really dont know how he lasted as long as he did! a good price, i though, and should have been snapped up much sooner RE: guess who i just bought! - sunhuntin - 05-25-2015 theyre home! both are in good shape. james needed the tender coupler replaced, and toby is missing a scratch of paint on his roof, but the insides look pretty good and both run well. delighted to have them here and crossed off my "wants" list at long last. love this james, and i know my young wheelchair bound friend, also james, will love him as well toby. likely the nicest looking gimmick engine.
