the wagon is too long. So much overhang. Will the cars stored on the top level able to clear the tunnels? The rolling stock is already as high as the locomotive.

Valid questions Leyland. The articulated car carrier reminds me of the purple ones that come with Hyper Guardian Cargo Liner in both length and double articulated bogies.
I would be interested in several of these car carriers except for a couple questions the is confusing in the 2 photos.
In the first picture the automobiles are whited out or are just white in color. Does this mean that no autos come with it or the autos are a plain white plastic and only 2 come with the set?
Is the second picture 'Staged' and the automobiles are colored and more detailed than will actually come with the set?
The second picture seems to show maybe 2 more autos in the lower level...will there be 5 included?
In the original Plarail auto carrier only 2 non-detailed, solid, one color plastic were included (which are very rare to find now a days)
I sure wouldn't mind having about 4 of these but only if they come filled with the 5 cars the are colored and detailed.

i doubt they would include "coloured" cars. When you look at the station sets, they always include cars on the front cover. Rarely do you get a car in the set.
When they are start selling these two trains. I am interested in the car carrier set.
Also where can I find more photos or videos of these new trains?

Once but we don't see any Plarails from Digs and Discoveries get since Japan is getting the movie in 2020.

I predict Diesel 10 and Spencer will stay once again as they are so popular.

I am wondering if this Ippai Tsunago! ALFA-X and the new car carrier train are going to be at the 2020 Tokyo Plarail Expo in the spring as event exclusives.

Oh wow! That EF65 and auto rack set is SWEET! It may be my first new Plarail purchase for myself in quite a while.
I do share lelandvictory2’s concerns about the sheer size of the auto rack. It may have problems with higher speeds and tight turns.
