RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - Super - 02-02-2015 Has anyone used any of type of Solder Paste? Is it at all good, easier to use or is this for other applications. What I get out of it is that you can put a small drop on anything, hold your wire or wires in it and apply heat. Is it that easy? Do you have to use a torch or can a soldering iron provide enough heat? I am curious and always looking for ways to make thinks easier and nicer. Solder Paste RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - ROCKINATOR - 02-03-2015 When I fixed my steam thomas using superglue, I found it held just fine, along with the extra strength superglue provides. RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - Super - 09-11-2015 It has been a while but Jem77Custom is back showing his LED wiring expertise with a video showing a custom lighting train. Check out the video below and the many other fantastic examples of LED lighting in his other videos on his YouTube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/jem77custom/videos RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - DalaGStanator - 10-27-2015 (02-21-2014, 10:20 PM)Super Wrote: Tramp: Do these come in a flashing variety? I wonder if they could be wired to a Talking Flynn (which I don't have) as his emergency lighting, which would activate when he is switched on. Update: 4 years later, Ripley did exactly that. RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - Super - 10-27-2015 There is a talking Flynn? Those are power generators and are used here for lighting LED lights which require more than the 1.5volts that most of these trains use. RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - Super - 10-30-2015 Thanks DalaGStanator Looks like he came out with that whole last batch of talking Thomas and Friend trains just before the move to Revolution. You can still find a few here and there at Walmarts, Target and Meijers. I didn't know a Flynn was included to. I assume he speaks English and I will have to check out YouTube for a video. Found one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVQ2Wpkjru4 RE: Electrical Engineering *Lighting* - ripley802 - 10-30-2015 (10-30-2015, 05:23 PM)Super Wrote: Thanks DalaGStanator I have the talking Flynn. Yes (or at least the one I have) speaks English. I added headlights to an older non-talking Flynn as well. |
