You've just moved into a different house, and you're allowed time off to fix up your play-room?  How does that work?  You should provide some useful tips for those of us who are less gifted.  I've been in this house about eight years and I still haven't got to the stage you've reached in about eight hours!

Haha - Here's a tip: Build an essential function into the design of your train room. See all that under-bench storage? Some of that is train stuff but some of it is necessary to store other stuff to clear up the house. Now the train room project is on the critical path and needs to get done! Smile

You have a keen eye. Because the top rails curve different to the bottom I had to get creative with some wood. Small pieces of pine for the pillars and thin MDF for the top. I had some bright yellow paint from the city buildings so I used that and painted them yellow.

Might need a few more custom girders before I finish, to get into those tight spaces.

There's going to be a very large feature in this layout that I haven't started constructing yet. I can see it in my minds eye but I haven't yet come to grips with how to make it a reality. More on that later.  Big Grin
