RE: What did you do to your trains today? - trevor369 - 11-24-2019 he is a 10yr old boy. he is happy. and likes being a kid. who doesn't? but, if you remember, interests change. so, to answer your question... sure. he likes it. just not sure how long it will keep his curiosity. one of the many reasons that I chose trackmaster... was because of #1) automation. that was first. a train... a battery... and go! but second, was set design. applying imagination. putting tracks together and making a layout. then buildings, or pieces or anything. it was my job to have anything or everything. so my collection started. make sense? RE: What did you do to your trains today? - trevor369 - 12-06-2019 the before... the beginning... and the after.... RE: What did you do to your trains today? - trevor369 - 02-27-2020 sorry, i have beenm away. life tends to get hectic. some new additions cat- leo- not included. RE: What did you do to your trains today? - Engineer Bob - 02-27-2020 I received a second package for the week; some dome and underground sections and a few other pieces I was looking for. I decided to experiment with making a station out of them and the Amtrak parts I got early in the week. It's probably overkill for any of the layouts I will make, but it was fun to play around with. RE: What did you do to your trains today? - Super - 02-27-2020 @Trevor Looks like your son is having a great time with that Celebration Thomas with Old Slow Coach. @Bob Wow...you are really stock piling lots of stuff for your next big Layout. RE: What did you do to your trains today? - trevor369 - 02-27-2020 yes, he loves it. especially sir topham hatt. how he fits in old slow coach. he asked " why is is suit different?" I sais because it is a special edition. Am I correct? Why is his suit different? As far as I go... It is the DX crossing station that caught my eye. I knew I could put "some" non-motorized vehicles on it. Just didn't know which ones. RE: What did you do to your trains today? - Super - 02-28-2020 I am not sure why Sir Topham Hat is a different color...anyone know or have a guess? RE: What did you do to your trains today? - trevor369 - 03-01-2020 my only guess. and this is a guess here. my only guess, is.... the suit color, was part of a celebration. thomas had special colors. why shouldn't sir top ham hatt? of course, there is... always the economical issue RE: What did you do to your trains today? - Engineer Bob - 03-06-2020 I'm really behind on making videos but this weekend we have a Hot Wheels race between three groups. I decided to add some trains to make it more fun. (Trains always make things more fun) RE: What did you do to your trains today? - Super - 03-06-2020 An excellent idea Bob, the youngsters will have so much more action to look at. I like how you have a summer and winter layout |
