The one on his left (our right, was added by me).

Nice job, do they work?

RE: TrainMan2001's HO/OO Trains - TrainMan2001 - 01-15-2018

No. Although if you compare my Bachmann Thomas to the regular model, I repainted the dummy couplers, the spot between the tanks and wheel arches black, and, if you want to see the back of the model, I could take a picture of his rear lamp (I painted the "lenz" red).

Oh yes, I am always interested in seeing custom work whatever it is.

Here is the picture of his rear lamp. I also took a picture of the board. I am in the middle of removing the track and cork underlay.

I just went to a train show today, although I didn't participate in it. Here are some pictures of he host layout.

I also got a milk tanker and some new track for the board.

Also, instead of doing a World War II theme, I am going to do a basic countryside theme to learn how to do stuff like that. I also decided on what I am going to do for my layout when I can build one myself. I am planning on an open grid style layout set in 1993. I will scratchbuild buildings to look like the ones available during 1993 of the Thomas Wooden Railway. I will also be doing the rolling stock based on the ones available for the TWR in 1993, hence the milk tanker. All Thomas stock I already own that isn't parallel for this time setting will be based off of rolling stock that the Bluebell Railway had in 1993. I am planning on having Thomas and Gordon along with some engines from the Bluebell Railway.

I changed my Thomas's face to an old wooden railway one I had because I think it looks better and it isn't sun-yellowed (my guess is that the set I got 2 years ago had been sitting right behind a window for several years). Also, Super, is there any way that this thread could be moved to the OO scale sub-forum instead of the HO one?

Done!
