Very interesting, please post some layouts designed using this app.  I had a quick play but I didn't see a way to lock pieces together once they had been positioned.

Hello Chris,
From what I can tell, the pieces don't seem to actually snap together. So you just have to make sure they align correctly. In the video I found this from, you can also see that the connectors don't align 100% correctly. I haven't made any layouts yet, gotta do some stuff today first, but once I can I'll post some layouts in this thread.

Which I guess would be kind of a good thing since there are a lot of other rail pieces that have to be substituted with by placing other rails on top of each other, i.e. the rail in current J-24 that has two branches in one piece; or a two-story layout.

Actually not that good but that's probably a reason.

As promised, here's some layout I designed.

This last one is actually based on a layout I made in real life!

Just a note, the top-most button will allow you to view the layout without all the buttons

Anyway, I tried to recreate my two most complex-ish layouts that I've made. Both of these shares the same footprint - under my bed, and rely a lot on the looseness between rails. Both are meant to run one way only, the open side is on the bottom.

Layout 1 - One track is able to run combined trains (those that have magnet connections), and the other has automated switch. Double turn-out tracks are fixed.

Layout 2 - The current one: Single train set running only, special tracks were substituted with overlapped tracks.
