RE: Thomas Modification ideas: assistance needed - MuddyPoppins - 01-10-2018 I suppose having a clean surface would be best to make sure it comes out with an even finish... Since Thomas' wheels were blue, yellow dye was used to make green. Using the primary color chart (red, yellow,& blue), you can figure out what combinations of dye to base color to use. red+yellow= orange red+blue= purple blue+yellow=green red+yellow+blue=brown There are also many other exotic shades right out of the pack, like turquoise, magenta, as well as a color neutralizer( which I've always wondered about but have never tried) RE: Thomas Modification ideas: assistance needed - Miksolo - 01-10-2018 Very interesting... To be more specific tho, I meant cleaning of the wheels to remove molding agents, etc. As for the colors, I suppose a tiny bit of frost gray should do the trick, even without the blue, but I'll get some just in case. RE: Thomas Modification ideas: assistance needed - Miksolo - 01-29-2018 Right! Edward, Lexi, and the dyes have arrived... Next step is to take apart Edward and figure out how this dying stuff works |
