RE: For My New Grandaughter - DalaGStanator - 07-07-2016 That diesel looks very American. Could it be a Sharknose? The station in the steam set really does look whimsical. Very Disneyesque, with a tinge of Looney Tunes. What is up with that lamppost? It also looks like there's a station speaker on the side of the building. I hope you'll find a nice way to incorporate it without making it look out of place. RE: For My New Grandaughter - sunhuntin - 07-07-2016 its toon town... everything is out of whack there. RE: For My New Grandaughter - Nigels - 07-07-2016 Why do I get the impression that having all but run out of 'adult' plarail items Super has come up with the excuse of "I need to get all this stuff for the granddaughter" just to get back the buzz of receiveing and opening brown packages again RE: For My New Grandaughter - Super - 07-07-2016 Ahem....its not my fault my daughter keeps having babies, not my fault at all. Its called the Grandfather code, I have to do it. I would have been just as content sittin in my rocker on the porch whittling away a block of wood for the rest of my days...not my fault at all. RE: For My New Grandaughter - Miksolo - 07-08-2016 And that block of wood probably would turn into a Plarail train made of wood. I'm sure someone out there believes you RE: For My New Grandaughter - ActionChugger - 07-11-2016 Super if you don't buy this for your granddaughter, Evan and I will disown you http://io9.gizmodo.com/legos-4-000-piece-disney-castle-is-cheaper-than-taking-1783428139 http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Disney-Castle-71040 Quote:Weighing in at 4,080 pieces, Lego’s new Disney Castle was modeled after the Cinderella Castle that’s visible from almost everywhere inside Walt Disney World. Its spires and fairy tale-inspired architecture are instantly recognizable, and while Lego’s take is no where near as grandiose as the original, this model still stands almost 30-inches tall to the tip of its tallest tower. RE: For My New Grandaughter - Super - 07-11-2016 Nice try. RE: For My New Grandaughter - DalaGStanator - 07-12-2016 That thing looks like the Titanic compared to the other Disney Princess sets! I bet the box will be at least a quarter of my height, and would need a second person to move. It definitely seems more suited for the Creator Expert line. I would've expected it to cost $600 if not more. I hope there will be more Disney buildings like this (especially the Frozen ice palace). It doesn't hurt since we paid the same price for the SHIELD Helicarrier |
